What is Hartley Lifecare?
Through sponsorship Hartley Lifecare will assist over 150 families from the ACT and surrounding region and continue to:
  • Create additional quality of life opportunities for their children, increasing their independence, dignity and self-esteem;
  • Meet the growing demand and financial costs associated with the provision of 24 hour supported respite care;
  • Assist children with high support needs to enjoy recreational, educational and social outings during their stay in the cottage;
  • Significantly lessen the burden on those families in the region, who are most in need of out-of-home support and relief from 24 hour care
  • Support and maintain the specialised home away from home Hartley residences, catering specifically to children and young adults living with severe physical disabilities.
